Description
This embossed card has a sandstone coloured background. At the top of the page in gold foil are the words, “On your Retirement”. Below this, is an embossed window frame looking out on to a green park scene. In the background, there are lots of shrubs and trees. In the middle of the sunlight, is a single unoccupied red striped deck chair. In the foreground are some white and red flowers and a tree stump. Below this in gold foil, is the poem “If there’s a flower that brings blooms with special cheer for you, if there’s a rainbow in your world, if sunny thoughts shine throughout, if there’s a feeling in your heart that things will go your way, then you will know my wish for you is coming true today. Constance Parker Graham.”and underneath this, is an embossed squiggle that looks like a signature.
The next two pages are paper inserts with a sandstone background. On the left-hand side is a reversed image of the park scene, which is blurred out. On the left-hand side in red are the words.“Relax and take it easy now your working days are done, and savour your retirement, you deserve to have some fun, and all the things you never got around to in the past, are waiting for you now you’ve time to spend on them at last”. On the right-hand side, the words continue with “…As you now start retirement you take along with you, best wishes for the future in all you plan and do. Best wishes”. Below this in the bottom right-hand corner is an image of the deck chair. This card has a White envelope.
