Description

This Christmas card has a red and white background and a gold foil border at the bottom and in the centre. At the top of the page in gold foil are the words “To a very dear Dad at Christmas”. Below this is an embossed circle which is partly cut out revealing the image on the next page. Below this, making up part of the image, is an embossed Father Christmas in his red sleigh being pulled along by two reindeer. Below the circle again in gold foil are the words, “Greetings of the season and special wishes too, for all the joys of Christmas are being sent to you”. In the fold of the card, there is an elasticated gold cord tied in a bow three-quarters of the way up.

The next pages are paper inserts. There is a moonlit winter scene of a little village which forms part of the image on the front page. Below this, are the words, “This brings a loving greeting with special thoughts of you, hoping that your Christmas is happy one all through…”. Below this is a copy of the image of Father Christmas and his sleigh.

The next two pages have a red border at the top and bottom. On the left-hand side is a copy of the full winter scene with Father Christmas and his sleigh. On the right-hand side the verse continues with “…and there couldn’t be a warmer wish than this one sent your way, for a year that’s full of happiness each and every day. Merry Christmas”.
