Description

This card has a living room mantlepiece as a background. At the top of the page in gold foil are the words “To special neighbours at Christmastime”. Below this and just above the mantlepiece is a large Christmas wreath decorated with a red bow. On top of the mantelpiece are two vases one with wood twigs in it and the other one is filled with pebbles. The mantlepiece is decorated with holly, mistletoe and fern tree leaves. In the centre of the mantlepiece is a red-lit lantern. Dangling from the mantlepiece are four embossed Christmas stockings in fawn and red, each decorated with ribbons.

The next two pages have a red background and on top of them is a paper insert. The paper insert has a two-line red border at the top of the page and on the left-hand side is a copy of the front page. In gold on the right-hand side are the words, “special thoughts are being sent and many wishes too, for all it takes to make Christmastime full of happiness for you. Merry Christmas”. This card has a white envelope.
