Description

This card has a winter scene as a background. Down the left-hand side of the card is a real red ribbon tied in a bow at the top. At the top of the card in red foil are the words “To a very special friend at Christmas”. Below this in the garden is a large snow-covered embossed Christmas tree. To the left is a brown teddy bear who has a red scarf and tinsel in the right ear. The teddy bear is hanging red baubles on the Christmas tree. To the right of the Christmas tree is a snow-covered picket fence and gate. Beyond the gate is an old-fashioned gas lamp. The right-hand side of the card is cut out to match the silhouette of the lamp post and gate. In the foreground to the right is an embossed snowman who has a red bobble hat, a red scarf, twigs for arms, a carrot for a nose and pieces of coal for eyes, mouth and buttons. To the left of this in red foil are the words “Hope this Christmas brings lots of special moments that you’ll remember with happiness throughout the coming year”. Next to this are two gift-wrapped presents.

The next two pages are paper inserts in white with a single red line border. On the left-hand side is a copy of the front page but the teddy bear is now adding tinsel to the snowman. In red on the right-hand side are the words “Sending festive greetings and many wishes too, hope you find that Christmas is very special for you, may you find that the year ahead will bring, lots of happiness to you and the best of everything. Christmas wishes”.
