Description

This card has a white background and on the left-hand side going from top to bottom, there is a real pink ribbon tied in a bow three-quarters of the way up. Most of the card is taken up by a dressing table scene. The dressing table has an elaborate oval mirror which is embellished with gold foil. On the front of the table are a lipstick, a large perfume bottle and a table tidy full of makeup items. At the top right and bottom left corners of the card, are pink roses. At the top of the page in gold foil are the words, “For a Wonderful Cousin on your Birthday”. Below this again in gold foil are the words, “Because you’re thought so much of this Birthday greeting brings, wishes for lots of happiness and life’s most special things, and every wish is filled with love because it’s very true, there’s no-one in the world who deserves it more than you”.

The next two pages are paper inserts in light purple. In the four corners are pink roses and on the left-hand side is a copy of the mirror which has roses draped over it. On the right-hand side, there is an oval banner decorated with roses.  In the centre are the words, “This brings a wish for happiness today and all year  through, and it’s filled with loving thoughts because it’s meant for you. Happy Birthday.” This card has a pink envelope.
