Description

This Father’s Day card has a river scene in blue as the background. Tied to the right hand side of the card is an elasticated gold string tied in a bow. A raised embossed blue banner located at the top of the page has gold letters with the words “With love, Dad”. In the centre of the page is a gold foiled banner running across the full width of the card. On the left hand side of the card on top of the gold banner is a picture post card with a gold border of a very calm harbour scene with lots of little boats in the foreground and background. Below this is a second raised banner as above but with the words, “Just for you”. To the right of this there is a second photograph of the mouth of the river with a village  in the distance, in the forground is a traditional wooden boat in red white and blue. The bottom of the card has a gold embossed border.

The next three pages are paper inserts and have the same background as the front page. On the first page it has a copy of the harbour scene photograph to the left of this in blue, it has the verse “Because you’re always thought about in such a special way, because you always do so much to brighten any day…” The next page has a copy of the bay scene photo. Below this again in blue is the verse, “…because you bring such happiness to others all year through, this wish for joy on Father’s Day is warmly meant for you.” On the next page the verse continues “because I think about you so often throughout the year, this greeting’s being sent to you when Father’s Day is here, to tell you that you’re special and send a wish your way, for everything that’s wonderful to fill this special day. With Warmest Thoughts”.
